For the second year in a row, 3S Cowboy Church in Enterprise will be offering a Tri – State sanctioned rodeo this Independence Day weekend at Chancelor Arena at 13197 Hwy. 513 in Enterprise.
TNT Rodeo Productions will have a “Salute to God and Country” Friday and Saturday night with gates opening at 6 p.m.
Friday night’s entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the Stonewall Quartet Reunion. The rodeo will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday’s night’s entertainment will be a band from East Texas Cowboy Church called “On Any Given Sunday.”
“This is our mission field and we are hoping for an exciting and fun event,” said Tony Chancelor of 3S Cowboy Church. “We also want to spread the word and hope someone will be drawn closer to the Lord through this ministry. I will be delivering a brief 6 - 7 minute message on horseback during the event.”
Last year 3S hosted the Broncs and Bulls and wanted to use this holiday weekend to offer another celebration of clean, fun, family event for those in the community and surrounding areas.
The Tri State Sanctioned rodeos are one of the oldest rodeo associations and 3S and their sponsors are bringing this event to Clarke County Friday, July 1st and Saturday, July 2nd.
Concessions from “Smoking 57” of pulled pork, hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings will be available for donation only.
“There is no set price for the concessions and even the gate entry is donation only,” said Chancelor.
Other exciting attractions will be the mechanical bull, blacksmith demonstrations, snow cone stand and the Trixie Chick Riders.
Bring your lawn chairs and come out and help celebrate Independence Day weekend.
3S Cowboy Church in Enterprise is a non-denominational church of the American Association of Cowboy Churches. Located on Highway 11S in Enterprise, Chancelor invites you to come and hear their message Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. and Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
