The Mississippi Department of Health has imposed a financial increase on all Water/Wastewater systems in the state to show a 15% profit instead of 10% on revenue received as of January of this year. This is to ensure the systems keep enough extra finances to help cover the rising costs of chemicals, materials, manpower and everyday operation of water systems and any unforeseen problems that may arise.
On March 11, 2026, Mississippi Rural Water Association came and conducted a rate assessment for the Town of Enterprise’s system. It was determined that the Town of Enterprise must make an increase of $1.00 on all rates in usage of water. Wastewater rate remains at 75% of the water total on billing for those on wastewater.
The Town of Enterprise is committed to keeping the cost of service to you, the customer, as low as possible as you continue to receive quality service and safe drinking water.
This increased rate will take place on the bill that will be due July 10, 2026.
