“Take heart and never take for granted a small town community where everyone generally knows everyone,” advised Frank Jadzinski. “Few and far between are your close-knit communities who care about you and share friendships along the way through this journey of life.”
Frank Jadzinski has always enjoyed friendships and has many great memories growing up with friends.
“One of my favorite memories as a child was playing with neighborhood friends during the summer back in the woods where there was a creek and three-wheeler trails throughout the area behind neighborhood houses where we grew up in Lowndes County New Hope, Columbus, MS,” Frank reminisced. “We would go barefooted everywhere and not have a care in the world doing so, staying out until right after dusk. Another favorite past-time was making traps along the creek and catching crawdads. Also, we’d build fort houses where you could stay and sleep if you wanted to for friend sleepovers.”
Later on, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in banking and finance from Mississippi State University. Since then, he has worked in various financial institutions.
“Jobs I’ve had in the past have been with NBC in Columbus, now known as Cadence Bank,” informed Frank. “Also, I’ve worked with BancorpSouth which recently bought Cadence. I worked with NBC as a loan officer/branch manager in the New Hope Community while in Columbus. With BancorpSouth, I was branch manager there as well at their main office in downtown Columbus. Currently, I work with First State Bank as vice president/branch manager at the Quitman branch. I’ve been with the company for about ten and a half years.”
He loves his job and does his best to help as many people as he possibly can with it. In fact, the hardest thing for him is when he isn’t able to help someone the way they would like.
“The hardest part of my job would be not being able to help someone with a request they really needed,” explained Frank. “The easiest part of my job is making contacts with new acquaintances and getting to know people within a particular community.”
Community is something that he really values, and Frank actively participates in different community organizations.
“The organizations I’m involved in are the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce, board member, Clarkdale Recreation League concession stand worker for both spring and fall, and the MSU Clarke County Alumni Chapter organization,” stated Frank.
He has a family that he loves and is proud of what they have accomplished.
“I’m married to Kristi Jadzinski, and we have two daughters: Natalie, 22, and Alyson, 18,” expressed Frank. “We’ve lived in the Clarkdale community for approximately 14 years. Kristi is the school nurse at Clarkdale Elementary. Alyson just graduated from Clarkdale High School and will be attending Mississippi College in the fall, majoring in worship leadership. Natalie is an RN at Rush Hospital in the recovery unit and is engaged to be married this October.”
Church is very important to Frank and his family, and they enjoy being active in the church they attend: New Hope Baptist Church.
“We are actively involved at New Hope Baptist Church in Clarkdale,” informed Frank. “I’m a deacon, and Kristi helps with the Welcome Desk in the children’s area. We serve on different committees in the church and both sing in the choir and with the praise team.”
There are things that Frank enjoys doing when he has some spare time, and being with his family is one of them.
“My hobbies include playing with my dogs and working in the yard. Also, I like anything that is SEC sports. I especially like football and baseball, particularly Mississippi State sports,” said Frank. “My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family, friends, and make lasting memories as much as possible.”
No matter what happens, Frank will make sure to do his best each day to help those around him and bring a smile to everyone’s face.
