Kids all over the county are excited to dress up and collect candy again this Halloween. Please remember to be cautious and go slowly through areas that have a lot of trick or treaters going door to door.
The following are the times and dates for kids to have the opportunity to trick or treat this year:
• On Thursday, October 30, Clarke County Emergency Management will have its Annual Candy Crawl on Main Street in Quitman from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be candy, games, face painting, and more.
• Quitman will have trick or treating Friday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a modified traffic route around Betty Circle during that time to make it safer for the kids going door to door. See map below.
• The Town of Enterprise will have trick or treating Friday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• The Village of Pachuta will have trick or treating Friday, October 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• The Town of Shubuta will have its Annual Fall Festival and Trunk or Treating in town on Friday, October 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• The Town of Stonewall will have Trunk or Treating at Town Hall on Friday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
