The last day to register to vote and be eligible to vote in the General Election will be October 7. The Circuit Clerk’s office will be open on October 5 for anyone who cannot make it during normal business hours to register.
You can absentee vote from now until November 2. The Circuit Clerk’s office will also be open October 26 and November 2 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. for absentee voting.
The following are accepted reasons for voting absentee:
• Over 65
• Out of the county on Election Day
• Disabled (bedridden)
• Military within the United States (out of the county)
• Overseas Military and Civilian
• Student or teacher out of the county on election day
• Required to work on election day the same time voting polls are open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
