There will be a Watermelon Jubilee on the Clarke County Courthouse Lawn on July 22, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – until.
It will be a one day event featuring activities for the whole family to enjoy. There are plans to have local music acts as well as having county and state candidates speak.
One of the biggest events of the day will be the Watermelon Eating Contest!
There will be various vendors to serve different watermelon treats and classic fair food, such as funnel cakes, turkey legs, corn dogs, etc. There will also be some commercial vendors set up for people to enjoy.
