William Jerry Risher, 88, of Enterprise, Mississippi, passed away on February 27, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on May 25, 1936, to Archie and Mary (Kidd) Risher in Enterprise, MS.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara K Risher; sons, Lester (Nancy) Risher and Gregory (Pam) Risher; daughter, Faith (Scott) Hill; sister, Sarah Hailes; six grandchildren, Kyle Risher, Travis Risher, Jessica Touchstone, Levi Hill, Shiloh Hill, and Judah Hill; and five great-grandchildren, Caroline Risher, Eden Risher, Josie Risher, Abel Risher, and Sadie Touchstone.
He was preceded in death by his father, Archie M. Risher; mother, Mary Risher; brother, Dale Risher; and sister, Jewel Downey.
Visitation was held Friday, February 28, 2025, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 1, 2025, one hour prior to the service at Enterprise Methodist Church, Enterprise, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at the Enterprise Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Reed officiating. Burial took place in the Enterprise Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Helms, Steven Gunn, Darrel Phillips, Jason Evans, Randall Acreman and Steve Owen. Honorary Pallbearers were Larry Owen, David Kowall and Bob Dawson.
