Quitman High School capped its homecoming celebration with a 28-16 victory over Pisgah on Friday, Oct. 9.
Homecoming spirit filled the town as toilet paper streamed through the streets. Students and faculty members took part in a week of activities leading up to the game.
The Quitman School District added a new element to its traditional festivities this year.
After the parade Thursday night, students presented the homecoming court, including representatives from preschool through 12th grade, to spectators on the field.
The ceremony concluded with the crowning of Lawson Bartee as the 2026 homecoming queen.
