Roger Dean Farris, 65, of Enterprise, Mississippi, passed away on August 30, 2024, at Ochsner Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS.
He was born on December 25, 1958, to Arthur and Leona (Hazelman) Farris in Lansing, MI.
Roger was a dedicated truck driver for Miller Transport for over 36 years.
Roger is survived by his wife, Michelle Farris; two sons, Kyle (Brittany) Farris and Alexander (Jessica) Farris; seven grandchildren, Kynsleigh Farris, Everly Farris, Dacey Smith, Jax Smith, Adia Farris, Caleb Farris, and Abigail Farris; two brothers, Ricky (Mary) Farris and Gary (Teresa) Farris; sister, Barbara (Glenn) Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Arthur C. and Leona Farris, and adopted parents, Clarence and Annie Mae Kidd.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church, Enterprise, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church with Rev. Evan Akins officiating.
Pallbearers are Kyle Farris, Alex Farris, Ben Humphrey, Byron Nix, Johnny Speed, and Bob Lewis.
Burial will take place in the Pine Hill Church Cemetery.
