Virginia Richardson Grayson, 84, of Waynesboro, Mississippi, passed away on April 12, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on September 27, 1938, to Charlie and Onie (Satcher) Richardson in Stonewall, MS.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Pam Grayson (Gary) Malone; two sons, Kelly Jon Grayson, and Dave Gerald (Lisa) Grayson; sister, Mamie Lois Carmichael; 12 grandchildren, Chad, Jennifer, Aaron, Lindsey, Cade, Amber, Garrick, Kevin, Megan, Dylan, Thomas, and Anna Claire; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Oscar Richardson; mother, Onie Amelia Richardson; Father of her children, Gerald Grayson, Son, Gary Mark Grayson, Brother, Charles Ray Richardson, daughter-in-law, Sharon Grayson; and a brother-in-law, Aubrey R. "Cobb" Carmichael.
Visitation was held Friday, April 14, 2023, after 5:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.
Burial took place in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery (Quitman, MS).
