Clarke County Board of Supervisors Sign Two Resolutions

The Clarke County Board of Supervisors signed two resolutions at their regular board meeting on Monday, August 4, 2025.
The first resolution was the “Commendation to the 2024-2025 Enterprise Fast-Pitch Softball Team Upon Winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) 3A State Championship.”

Outreach Health Services 65x65 Walk Run

Outreach Health Services, located at 130 North High Street in Shubuta, will be having their 65 x 65 Walk Run on August 16, 2025. It will start at 7:45 a.m. with the walk itself starting at 8:30 a.m. Anyone under 18 must have parental consent to participate. There is a registration fee of $10 for adults 18 and older.

QHS Softball Players Named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

Seventeen amazing QHS softball players have been named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association! This is the highest honor a student can achieve as an NFCA student-athlete. As part of this honor, Quitman High School was designated an Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-America High School.
