“After the fire a still small voice.” (1Kings 19:12) The prophet Elijah was running for his life from Jezebel, the wicked wife of King Ahab. She hated Elijah because he spoke out against her idolatry and false worship, and she sought to kill him. Elijah fled to mount Horeb, known as God’s mountain.
