Sybil Blair Johnson was born January 11, 1920, in Shubuta, MS, to William Earl Blair and Ruby Hays Blair. After Sybil’s mother died from complications during childbirth, she was maternally nurtured and raised by her loving second mother, Ada Crosby Blair.
