Meeting to discuss inclusion to MDAH for Downtown

A public hearing will be held at the Quitman Depot Thursday, July 14th at 6 p.m. to discuss the City’s request for inclusion in the National Register the Downtown/Mill District. All business owners and interested citizens are encouraged to attend this hearing.

Mrs. Harry (Agnes Lousease Norris) Martin died peacefully Monday, May 11, 2015, at 6:15 AM at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo after an extended illness. Agnes was born in Quitman (Clarke Co.) Mississippi. She was the younger child of Elim and Susie Norris.
