We often use phrases like “God bless you” or “I am blessed,” but what does being blessed really mean? Many people associate blessing with health, wealth, success, intelligence, or attractiveness. If blessing meant prosperity and comfort, who wouldn’t want that? Yet Jesus presents a very different picture.
