Charles Vivian Robinson, Jr., 83, of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on October 18, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on March 13, 1940, to Charles and Winnie (Adams) Robinson in Clarke County, MS.
Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Ann Robinson; son, Byron Eric (Leanne Beard) Robinson; six grandchildren, Brayden Robinson, Jenna Robinson, Lexsi Robinson, Brodie Robinson, Byron Robinson, and Beau Robinson; brother, Edward Earl Robinson; and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Vivian Robinson, Sr.; mother, Winnie Olive Robinson; and two sisters, Tommie Lou Long, and Linda Huddleston.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 27, 2023, after 5:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.
Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Ray Chestnut, James Kennedy, Danny Crump, Ron Hollaway, Gary Lain and Paul Sims. Honorary Pallbearers will be J. G. Kufel, Doug McInnis and Arthur Cockrell.
