On May 14, 2023, Roy Arnold Reeder, 66, lost his battle of sickness and died peacefully in a residence located in Causeyville, MS.
Roy was the middle child of three, born in Ashland, Oregon. Roy never married nor fathered any children. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with vehicles, and as said by his closest friends, his greatest gift was helping people he cared about.
Roy was preceded in death by his entire family: his father, James Ray Reeder; mother, ErmaLee (Rash) Reeder; brother, Stephen Ray Reeder; and sister, Regina Reeder. There were no nieces or nephews because none of his family married or had children.
Roy is only survived by his aunt, Mildred Alice (Reeder) Ivy who resides in Clarke County, MS.
Roy will be missed by his aunt Mildred, by his caregivers, and many friends. Like Paul, Roy has fought the good fight, finished his race, and kept his faith. Now, there is in store for him the Crown of Righteousness which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will reward him on that day, and not only to him but to all who have longed for his appearing (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
