Parents and Students of EHS:
On Friday, August 4 (tomorrow), concrete will begin being poured at Enterprise Baptist Church at 4 am. Due to the large amount of concrete needed and the area they will be covering, this will be occurring during our morning arrival to school.
River Road will be closed past Main Street to the Student Entrance at EHS. Due to this we are asking that all student drivers, car riders, faculty/staff, and school buses going to EHS detour down Highway 11 to South Street.
Car riders will enter the front entrance of EHS like always. When exiting after dropping off your student, you must turn left and go back down South Street.
Student drivers will enter the campus at the baseball field entrance and will be routed around the school to the student parking lot. SCHOOL BUSES WILL BE USING THE SAME ENTRANCE AND DROPPING OFF AT THE FOOTBALL TICKET BOOTH. STUDENTS SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO THE FACULTY/STAFF AND LAW ENFORCEMENT THAT WILL BE DIRECTING THEM ONCE THEY ARRIVE ON CAMPUS!
Students should be patient in this line and NOT pass any other vehicles or school buses. Maps are provided for you to look at and show your student driver the path to school, if needed.
We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause. However, we are excited for Enterprise Baptist Church’s building project progressing and the cement being poured! This should be over mid-morning, and afternoon traffic will resume as normal.
Thanks for your patience and understanding during this,
John Welch
District Safety Coordinator/Transportation Director
