The State of Mississippi is still under a burn ban with no exemptions. It is important for people to refrain from burning anything, and anyone caught violating the burn ban will be help responsible.
Emergency Management Director Toshia Evans said, “If you see a neighbor or anyone burning, please call the local 911 office.”
