Taxpayers in the City of Quitman should not see an increase in taxes for the upcoming fiscal year. In the new budget, the aldermen intend to maintain a millage rate of 32.02 mils for the city. That millage rate includes 1 mil for operating the library and .25 mils to operate the fire department.
