Bobcats rally late to beat Lady Warriors, 63-57

Jones College used an 8-0 run in the final four minutes to overcome East Central 63-57 here Tuesday night at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.

The Bobcats improve to 13-3 overall, 2-1 in the MACCC. East Central falls to 3-11 and 0-3.

Jones College postpones basketball games to Tuesday

With Winter Storm Fern rolling through the Pine Belt over the weekend, Monday's scheduled basketball games between Jones College and East Mississippi have been postponed to Tuesday, Jan. 27.

The games were originally slate for Monday.

Braylon Barnes (Brandon) dropped a career-high 29 points and Jay Tyler (Oxford) added 26 as No. 20 Jones College rallied from a double-digit deficit to defeat Hinds, 100-94, in the MACCC-opener Monday night at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.

Jones improved to 12-5 overall, 1-0 MACCC. Hinds fell to 10-7, 0-1.

No. 23 Jones snaps three-game skid with win over Jaguars
