Jones College won its second consecutive NJCAA Men’s Region 23 Championship here Saturday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.

Top-seeded Jones edged No. 2 seed Mississippi Gulf Coast 5-4 in the championship match, which lasted almost four hours.

“Country” Graham inducted into Mississippi Community College Sports Hall of Fame

Former Jones College basketball and football coach Bonnie Lee “Country” Graham was inducted into the Mississippi Community College Sports Hall of Fame Tuesday night at the Muse Center on the Hinds-Rankin County campus.

Graham is the 22nd Bobcat to be enshrined into the state Hall of Fame.

No. 9 Bobcats end regular season at 17-0

Ninth-ranked Jones College closed regular season play at 17-0 with an impressive 8-1 victory over Wallace State-Hanceville here Friday afternoon.

It is the second consecutive unbeaten season for Jones, who went 22-0 in 2024. It was the first loss of the season for the Lions, who are now 15-1.
