Bobcats to play for national championship Saturday

Jones College will play for its first-ever NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Championship on Saturday.

The top-ranked Bobcats avenged their lone loss of the season to Holmes back on Oct. 24 with an emphatic 4-0 victory in Thursday's national championship semifinal.

Bobcats finish 2-1 in Pensacola St. Thanksgiving Classic

After wins on the first two days of the Pensacola State Thanksgiving Classic at Harstell Arena, Jones College dropped a 76-60 decision to No. 1 Northwest Florida State on Wednesday to finish 2-1.

Jones moved to 8-2 on the season and will return to action Thursday, Nov. 30 at Southwest.

Bobcats blow past Boll Weevils

Aasia Wilson (West Jones) came off the bench and scored a career-high 23 points and added 16 rebounds to help Jones College blow past Enterprise State here Monday night 72-45.

Jones improved to 3-1 on the season while keeping the Boll Weevils winless at 0-6.

The Bobcats led 13-5 after one quarter and 36-16 at intermission.
