Jones shakes off slow start to beat East Central, 3-0

Jones College didn't take its first lead until 20-19 in the opening set.

But it was all Bobcats after that as they picked up 25-22, 25-10 and 25-19 wins to sweep East Central Monday night at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.

Jones improved to 22-1 overall, 12-1 MACCC and dropped the Warriors to 10-9, 7-5.

No. 7 Bobcats win 10th straight over Holmes

It's been a one-sided matchup against Holmes since 2013 and No. 7 Jones once again came out on top Friday night, 2-1, to run its win streak to 10 over the Bulldogs.

Jones pushed its unbeaten streak to 11 matches in moving to 10-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in MACCC play. Holmes fell to 6-8-1, 0-6-1.
