Jones ran its win streak out to eight games in improving to 27-8 overall and 13-3 in the MACCC.

Coahoma forfeits softball games to Jones

Coahoma softball and school officials have informed Jones College that they will forfeit Saturday's scheduled 1 p.m. doubleheader in Ellisville.

Jones will receive two, 7-0 forfeit wins and will improve to 37-6 overall, 15-3 in the MACCC. Coahoma is 0-17 overall, 0-15 in conference play.
