Barry White Honored With Resolutions from Senate and Board of Supervisors

At the Clarke County Board of Aldermen meeting on Monday, June 2, Barry White was presented with a resolution from both the Clarke County Board of Aldermen and the State of Mississippi Senate.

Veto Stands: No Beer Sales in Quitman on Sunday

At the regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, May 20, the Quitman Board of Aldermen discussed Veto Message 010 that was issued by Mayor Steve Watkins on May 8. The veto was to overrule a decision made by the board on May 6 to allow beer to be sold in city limits on a Sunday.

Memorial Day Service
