Lake Run 5K Success

On Saturday, June 8, 2024 Clarkco State Park was a buzz with over 50 people getting ready for the annual Lake Run 5k. There were runners and walkers preparing to start the race. There were volunteers making sure water was ready and available, awards were ready to pass out, and helping make things run smoothly.

Driveways, Why I keep Talking About Them

Sitting in my office I get a call about county employees in the road directing traffic. I was told that they were directing traffic because someone was getting their driveway done.

Here We Go Again

This column kind of feels like I’m repeating myself from just a few weeks ago.

Just a reminder, Supervisor Mickey Long approved to lay grey rock and seal with the patch truck a driveway that is 15 foot wide and 100 foot long. Using the patch truck is the most expensive method the county uses.
